# New members
Welcome to 101 new members of Expat in Denmark this month.
Dear Member

I hope this mail finds you well.

First of all, Happy New Year from everyone at Expat in Denmark.

We've been carefully looking through your repsonses to our member survey, so thanks to those of you who repsonded. There was a great deal of constructive praise and constructive criticism so we're taking care and time to make sure we plan 2011 to your satisfaction.

The 'expat population' is about as varied and heterogeneous a group as one can find. Will we ever be able to delight everyone? I suppose not. Neither do I suppose that we ever could. We do, however, have the best of intentions which we hope reuslts in the best year so far for you, and for Expat in Denmark, in 2011.

Finally, those of you who have had contact with the Secretariat will perhaps like to know that Peter Lemmich is, as I type, packing his bags for his next adventure; working in the European Parliament. We wish him all the best in his latest expat experience, and sincerely thank him for the wonderful contribution he made to Expat in Denmark.  We will miss many things about him, but especially his smile!

Best wishes

Craig Till, Expat in Denmark

Expat in Denmark The Danish housing market in 2011

After a successful seminar on the Danish housing market in Copenhagen, we now head to Jutland and Funen. The Danish system of mortgages, different types of housing and how to buy, sell or rent a house or apartment, can be difficult to understand as an expat, whether you have only recently arrived in Denmark or been here longer. Expat in Denmark has teamed up with Danske Bank to give you an opportunity to get your housing questions answered. Focus will be put on the Danish housing market in 2011, and the various ways in which you as an expat can get finance for your prospective purchase.

Member Survey 2010 Results

We now have the results from the 2010 member survey, which almost 700 members completed. We got some great feedback, including lots of praise, some constructive criticism, but also some unhappy users. Through the above link is a compilation of some of the conclusions we can draw, and some of the comments we received.

Thank you to all who participated!
