Dear Members of Expat in Denmark
We hope this newsletter finds you well.
As the festive season approaches it is hard to escape the number of Christmas events taking place around Denmark.
For those in and around Copenhagen we hope we'll see many of you at our Family Christmas Party on the 11th of December. There are already nearly 200 people signed up, so take a look at the link below to sign up and join us and our partners for a great afternoon together with your fellow expats......and a special guest from Greenland.
Thanks to those of you who have joined us these last weeks for our Professional Seminars. We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing you networking on a professional as well as a social basis, and we have a fantastic programme for January onwards which we'll tell you more about before Christmas.
Well be in touch in December, as - not least - we want to invite you to take part in our annual survey and help us tune our activities for the first half of 2011.
However, for now: enjoy the glôgg ....and be careful of the snaps.

The Copenhagen Post & Expat in Denmark's Christmas Tree Party (Sunday 11th December)
The Copenhagen Post, Expat in Denmark and Spousecare invite you to our Family Christmas Party on 11th December.
The party takes the form of a traditional Danish Christmas tree party, to celebrate the coming of Christmas in a Danish style!
From 14:00 we invite our members and their families to join us around the Christmas Tree, with Gløgg (mulled wine) traditional æbleskiver (warm donuts) Christmas Carols and dancing around the Christmas Tree.
(Please keep it secret, but we are expecting a very special guest from Greenland to be joining us at 15:00!)
This year the Family Christmas Party will offer more fun and gifts for kids as well as a raffle with great prizes. The Pier 5 bar of the Marriott Hotel will have 50% off drinks throughout the night so this promises to be an excellent event for all.

Research on the economic contribution of expats in Denmark
Copenhagen Business School has recently published some interesting research which has gone some way to confirming the economic contribution that expats make to the Danish economy. We thought many of you would find this of interest, so we thought we would share this with you.
