Expat Study 2010 - let us hear your opinion of Denmark as an Expat destination

Four years ago, Oxford Research and The Copenhagen Post carried out one of the first comprehensive studies of the Expat community in Denmark. This particular study has been used by political and corporate decision-makers in Denmark to understand the community, and to act according to the results it produced. Expat in Denmark is just one of the many Expat initiatives launched on the basis of this study. This year we invite you to participate in the new Expat Study 2010.

The aim of the survey is to gain knowledge about Expats in Denmark and to learn about your views on living and working in Denmark. Your participation will help make the conditions for Expats in Denmark better and contribute to improving Denmark's ability to attract highly-skilled professionals.

The survey is an initiative of the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ministry of Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs, Ministry of Employment, Copenhagen Capacity, the Capital Region of Denmark, Technical University of Denmark, The Danish Society of Engineers and the University of Copenhagen.

Who should participate in the survey?

The survey is aimed at individuals who have come to Denmark for reasons directly or indirectly related to work. People coming to Denmark primarily due to their spouse or partner's work or educational opportunities are also included in the target group for the survey. If you are a Danish citizen born in Denmark, this questionnaire is not relevant for you.

Click here to participate in the survey: www.expatstudy2010.oxfordresearch.dk.
Please submit the questionnaire by 15th of September 2010. Depending on your situation the survey is estimated to take 15-30 minutes.

Oxford Research and The Copenhagen Post are making use of a variety of sources to distribute the link to the questionnaire among expats in Denmark (networks for expats, workplaces, etc.). Therefore, you may receive the invitation to participate in the survey more than once. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

All answers will be treated confidentially.
