Regulations when going by public transport in Denmark.
Generally the best advice is to follow the information given by the staff.
Bicycles
It is not allowed to bring your bicyle with you on the bus except the boat-busses crossing the Copenhagen canal.
It is allowed entering the S-trains with your bicycle all days a week.
In the times of rush hour it is not allowed to bring your bicycle by the S-trains.
Please do not bring your bicycles at Nørreport Station during rush hour.
In the regional- and local trains you are allowed to bring your bicycle 24 hours a day all days a week.
In the metro it is not allowed to bring your bicycle at week days Monday to Friday from 7 o'clock am to half past 8 am and from half past 3 pm. to 5 o'clock pm.
You are not allowed to bring more then one bicycle pr. person.
Trailer to bicycles are not allowed to go by public transportation.
Baby carriages
If there is room enough it is free to enter most trains and the metro-system with your baby carriage.
It is also allowed to bring a standard sized baby carriage with you in every bus.
The baby carriage must at least have 3 wheels and a foot brake.
When entering please make sure that the driver knows you have a baby carriage with you.
It is your own responsibility to bring your baby carriage in and out the centre door of the bus.
It is allowed to bring an empty baby carriage but it is not allowed to carry any thing else then your child in the carriage
Please except the information given by the driver.
Animals
It is allowed to bring big dogs in all trains, the metro and the bus lines 30, 32, 33, 35, 36 and all bus lines with a bigger number then 80N.
The dog must be on a leash.
Please remember to buy a child ticket for your dog.
(The ticket must cover the same amount of zones as you are buying )
If your animal is small enough to be inside your bag you are allowed to enter any public transportation service and not pay a fee for the dog.
Please make sure that your animal does not disturb any other travellers.
