Published by Region Midtjylland, The European Social Fund and Erhvervscentret Ringkøbing Fjord Erhvervsråd in connection with the project “Modtagelse og fastholdelse af udenlandsk arbejdskraft”. It contains information about every aspect of the recruiting and retention process.

Gode Råd om Udenlandsk Arbejdskraft (2008)

Published by the Danish Chamber of Commerce and includes among other things information about resident and work permits, specific work schemes for researchers and rules for persons commuting from Sweden.

Kommet for at blive (2008)

Published by Danmarks Vækstråd and focuses on the challenges and barriers related to the recruitment and retention of Expats. It also proposes 7 initiatives to help better the conditions for Expats in Denmark.

Working in Denmark – a guide to the Danish labour market (2009)

Published by the Danish Ministry of Employment and contains an overview of selected characteristics of the Danish labour market, important rules for EU citizens working in Denmark, important labour laws and a list of relevant contacts.

New in Aalborg – your guide to working and living in Aalborg (2009)

Published by Aalborg municipality and covers the practical aspects of relocating to Aalborg. Get information about job centers, child care, taxation, national registration and much more.

Talent to Succeed (2010)

Published by AmCham and is a summary of their issues and recommendations is connection with attracting and retaining foreign talent. Issues such as lack of international schools and the high tax burden in Denmark are touched upon.

Insight and Influence – On Sustaining International Talent (2010)

Published by International Community and deals with some of the challenges and tasks related to the recruitment and retention of Expats. Focus is put on companies and Expats in Eastern Jutland, yet the content is useful for all, regardless of location.

Working at the University of Copenhagen (2010)

Published by the International Staff Mobility at the University of Copenhagen and is aimed at advising international researchers at the university about relocating to Denmark and working at the university.

Published by the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority and is a research report on Expats and their opinions about expatriation and Denmark as a country.

The Expat Study (2006)

Published by Oxford Research in cooperation with Copenhagen Post and is a report about Denmark’s qualities as a country for living and working in for Expats.

International Rekruttering – Barrierekatalog (2008)

Published by Deloitte and is based on a task force for identification and simplification of barriers in regards to the recruitment of Expats.

International Rekruttering – Løsningskatalog (2008)

Published by Deloitte and is a follow-up to their Barrierekatalog (see above). It contains solutions to the barriers specified in the Barrierekatalog.

Rapport om udenlandsk arbejdskraft (2008)

Published by the Ministry of Economics and Business Affairs and the Ministry of Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs and is a report about the integration and retention of Expats and their accompanying families.

Published by New Insight A/S and Lolland and Guldborgsund kommuner and is an analysis of needs and opportunities in connection with recruiting and retaining qualifies foreign labour to Lolland-Falster.

Published by Rambøll and is a report covering a selection of barriers of and solutions to the challenges of the recruitment, retention and integration of Expats.

Informationspakke til arbejdskraftindvandrere – brugerundersøgelse (2009)

Published by Niras Konsulenterne and Foreningen Nydansker and is a suggestion to a new information package about Danish society aimed at Expats and their families.

Kvalificeret arbejdskraft (2009)

Published by Danske Regioner and is their contribution to the political debate about the imperative challenge Denmark is facing in the years to come, namely the demand for highly qualified foreign labour.

Territorial Review Copenhagen (2009)

Published by OECD and a part of OECD’s Territorial Development Policy Committee. It contains an overview of the competitiveness of Copenhagen and the policies of Copenhagen to strengthen the competitiveness, including cultural policies.

Published by the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies and is an analysis of the Danish need for labour and the global supply of labour until 2018. 

Newcomers – Bibliotekerne og de nye Arbejdsmigranter (2010)

Published by Det Nationale Forskningscenter for Velfærd and is report which provides answers to questions such as under which circumstances do the Expats arrive, how many are they, and where do they come from.

Expat Study 2010 – Oxford Research and the Copenhagen Post (2010)

Oxford Research A/S and The Copenhagen Post present the third survey conducted of expatriates living and working in Denmark.

Fit for Denmark - IDA (2011)

On the website ”Fit for Denmark”, you can meet people who are already in Denmark on the basis of the greencard, either already working or looking for a job. It will give you a good impression of their experiences with the country so far.

Højtuddannede indvandreres bidrag til det danske samfund

CEBR made an analysis for the Confederation of Danish Industry and Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen for the period of August-November, 2011.

The purpose of the analysis has been to identify and present highly educated foreigners in Denmark, and their contribution to the public by examining individual data from Statistics Denmark.
